All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident: Arthur Schopenhauer -- In questions of science the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual: Galileo Galilei -- Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it: Albert Einstein -- When you have eliminated the impossible, what ever remains, however improbable must be the truth: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle -- We all agree that your theory is crazy, but is it crazy enough? Niels Bohr -- Whenever a true theory appears, it will be its own evidence. Its test is that it will explain all phenomena: Ralph Waldo Emerson -- Since the mathematicians invaded Relativity, I do not understand it myself anymore: Albert Einstein -- I would say that the aether is a medium invented by man for the purpose of propagating his misconceptions from one place to another: W.F.G. Swann: -- Most of the fundamental ideas of science are essentially simple, and may, as a rule, be expressed in a language comprehensible to everyone: Albert Einstein -- Physics is mathematical not because we know so much about the physical world, but because we know so little: Bertrand Russell -- If I could explain it to the average person, I would not have been worth the Nobel Prize: R. P. Feynman -- I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use: Galileo Galilei -- How dare we speak of the laws of chance? Is not chance the antithesis of all law?: Bertrand Russell -- Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I´m not sure about the former: Albert Einstein -- The glory of mathematics is that you don't have to say what you are talking about: Richard Feynman -- Anything is possible if you don´t know what you are talking about: Author Unknown -- In life, everything is relative - except Einstein´s theory: Leonid S. Sukhorukov -- Don´\'t worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you´ll have to ram them down people´s throats: Howard Aiken --A day will come undoubtedly when the ether will be discarded as useless: H. Poincaré -- First they tell you you´re wrong and they can prove it; then they tell you you´re right but it isn´t important; then they tell you it´s important but they knew it all along: Charles Kettering -- It is not once nor twice but times without number that the same ideas make their appearance in the world: Aristotle -- The opposite of a true statement is a false statement. The opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth: Niels Bohr -- A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it: Max Planck -- Euclid taught me that without assumptions there is no proof. Therefore, in any argument, examine the assumptions: Eric Temple Bell -- Half this game is ninety percent mental: Yogi Berra

Instructions for Submission of Papers

Three types of submissions are accepted

Research Papers: (See Style Guidelines Below)

This section is reserved for formal presentation of theories with abstracts, proofs, reference materials. Submissions may be made on a variety of scientific subjects in the language or languages of your choice.

Essays:

An essay may contain speculative, metaphysical, philosophical content and unlike research papers, does not require formal proof or references. Formatting should be consistent with that of the research section.

Communications:

The purpose of this segment is to provide a resource for the informal display of papers without the restrictions (formatting, abstracts, references,) normally applied to a full research paper. This allows free expression of ideas without formal proofs, etc.

List of Editors:

1. Papers may be submitted at no cost to the GSJ editors by email. Please review the List of Editors for the appropriate email address.

2. Payment of a nominal subscription fee allows adding and editing your personal profile, areas of interest, contact information etc. Included, is the ability to post and edit your own papers in multiple languages, within the guidelines established.

A Few Rules:

a. Papers must be submitted by the author or legal representative.
b. Papers remain the property of the author.
c. It is strongly recommended that authors copyright their papers. Two economical methods are suggested:
   1. Self-mailing a copy of the paper and keeping it sealed. The postmark on the envelope is proof of the authorship date.
   2. Have a copy of the paper stamped by a Public Notary. d. Papers may be updated or removed by the author at any time.
e. Papers may be sent in any language, but it is requested that an English abstract be included.
f. Common courtesy applies in all submissions and correspondence.
g. Spamming will not be tolerated and will result in removal of the offending article and author with no possibility of reinstatement.
h. Please email your submissions to the appropriate editor, listed separately. Please insure your email address on the author profile is current!

Style Guidelines for Presentation of Papers:

Uniform styling and formatting insures readability and adds a level of professionalism and identity. (See samples on-site). It is important for subscribed authors, to adhere to the formatting codes below for identity with, and uniform display of GSJ papers.

By far the best format available for the internet is PDF. It provides a reading clarity not possible with other methods and for this reason, has been adopted as the standard on GSJ. The Adobe PDF program is widely used. Some word processors, such as Wordperfect and Open Office provide automatic conversion. Free programs for converting to PDF from many source programs (MSWord, HTML, etc) are available for download from the internet. PDF papers are preferred, but must conform to the style guidelines: They should also include - abstracts, keywords, references in English (preferred) and in an easily copied format, since they must be shown separately on the listings. Papers may be forwarded as Open Office or MSWord documents for conversion to PDF by GSJ if minor editing is required.

Interactive .CDF files are also supported.

Identification:
Add the GSJ logo. It may be copied by Clicking Here. The logo should be placed on the left top of the title page of your paper.

Font: Please use 12 point type for serif (Times New Roman, etc.) and 10 point type for sans serif (Arial, etc). 14 point type is suggested for the main heading.

Spacing: Use double spacing to separate paragraphs, diagrams and text from formulas, and single-spacing throughout. Multiple line formulas may be single-spaced.
