Abstract:

On Fermilab's website, Don Lincoln decrees that in the Fermilab accelerator, the mass of particles don't change with velocity. However, at the same time, he sustains that this would not affect the validity of the Special Relativity Theory (SR). We will see in this paper that the claim of a velocity-dependent mass is the very essence of Einstein's SR, and that the abolition of this claim means the abolition of the SR. It is however proven that a coordinate system transform based upon the retardation of gravity field with the speed of light is a correct alternative to SR.

Comments

Mohammad Shafiq khan(Srinagar, India):
There was no need of any paper because Don Lincoln's so-called proof of SR is simply an absurd and self-contradictory claim. He denies the validity of fields which being the backbone of main-stream physics.

Zaman Akil(Kuwait):
The Fermilab discovery is a welcome important news. It confirms my argument that the total sum energy of a body remains preserved irrespective of its state of motion.* Thus the moving mass though higher virtually in size contains less radiative power that is balanced by the acquired kinetic energy of motion. This is confirmed by longer wavelengths transmitted by a radiator when in motion relative to its rest frame. We end up with the same energy content hence the virtual mass according to E=mc^2 is preserved on the moving frame !

Gottfried Gutsche(Mississauga, Ontario, Canada):
The fundamental problem with SRT is the automatic arbitrary conclusion that the speed of light is absolute in all inertial reference frames.
This, however, is traversed by the LHC particle beam speed of 99.9999991 % of the speed of light without anny variation in speet at all. A variation of 34000 meter per second must be observed in direction of the Earth motion if the particle beem mass reaches infinity at c, which is the speed of the moving platform "Earth" the LHC machine is sitting on if the speed of light is the absolute speed limit then(99.999999/100)c +34000m/second could not happen without a variation of speed.
Here we have the rotating mirror experiment with different results.
