This work presents, in item 2, SYNTHESIS, a new wave mechanics of relativistic origin (hereafter referred to as Symmetrical Quantum Relativistic Mechanics). In item 3, ANALYSIS, we apply this new mechanic to the photon and, by several paths, we calculate its mass of rest", m0y = 7; 37::: : 10E-51 kg ((30), (47), (92), (94) e (100)). In this item, we also demonstrate that the old" quantum theory has a relativistic origin. On the other hand, in several points of this work, we compare the theoretical data produced from the model presented to those already existing and accepted for the photon obtained by other paths, some theorists, others experimental. From the comparison, it is verified that there is a strong adherence between them. It must be said, However, in view of the operational nature of this work, we do not go into detail in the immense theoretical gaps in the new model proposed here (exception is made to the content of the Appendix A and B). We will do so in later work, indicating, in this case, the order to facilitate the search (002, 003, ...).
