Abstract:
Here, I first derive Schrodingers time-independent and time-dependent equations, as in the paper: McMahon, C.R. (2015) “Schrodinger equations: derivation, rest mass, fine structure constant and energy- Considering McMahon field theory” The general science journal. I then convert Schrodingers time-dependent equation into an equation for mass, which strangely shows that the mass varies despite the fact that the mass term used to derive the equation was a rest mass term. However, if we use the same technique to derive the Schrodinger equations with the exception that we consider McMahon field theory, the resulting Schrodinger equations are slightly different, however the mass term is not reduced at all, but behaves as a non-varying rest mass. Thus, the Schrodinger equations are actually incorrect, and are corrected in this paper. These corrected Schrodinger equations are called the “McMahon-Schrodinger equations”
