We begin with a new discovery which, to some extent, can hide an event from observation. A brief critique of that research is presented. The implication that you can construe an event to occur backwards in time is realized. The Feynman path integral, and the fact that light moves at different speeds in different mediums, are taken into account. Relativity's indistinguishable relationship between acceleration and gravitation is taken into account. Finally, we conclude, with parallel reasoning, how all this paves a foundation for time symmetric quantum mechanics.
