It is very difficult with Einstein because he kept changing his mind. Here is proposed what he might have meant in order to present a unified physics free of contradictions linking Lorentz theory to Einstein theory. It is proposed that Einstein did not properly understand his relativity theories, and so measurement in Einstein's relativity is really more like wave-function collapse in quantum mechanics. Einstein rebelled against quantum mechanics, but it was really what he rebelled against was what quantum mechanics had obtained from his relativity theories, namely – the quantum mechanics measurement issue; it is just that he did not properly understand his theories or what he had done. And that is suggestive that because he did not understand his relativity, that it might be plagiarism involved to account for that lack of understanding. Although starting from a scenario where the (classical) principle of relativity applies between two observers, what this really represents is “possibilities” of what can be measured, and then on measurement this is collapse to one of the two possible measurements and then creation of preferred frame.
